Clerking programme: are you aware of the DfE funding available?

Are you aware of the DfE funding available for clerk training and the new programmes that launched in February 2018 that attract this funding?

The Professional Clerking Programme is a new, nationally available development opportunity designed for those undertaking a clerking role. The whole programme is focused on the DfE Clerking Competency Framework, and so applicable for clerks in all educational settings.

The two face-to-face workshops with an experienced facilitator and eight modules focus on the development of clerking competencies. It develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to provide professional clerking to the governing boards of maintained schools, academies and multi-academy trusts.
