Conny Brandt to Share Wellbeing Insights at EdExec LIVE

With International Self-Care Day approaching, EdExec Live Liverpool is set to champion staff wellbeing with a compelling seminar from Conny Brandt

Taking place on Tuesday, July 1st, at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre, EdExec Live will bring together school business leaders (SBLs) from across Liverpool and the Wirral for a day of networking, insight and professional development.

A seminar led by Conny Brandt, titled “A Six Year Case Study of Trials, Triumphs and Tough Lessons.” will be bringing wellbeing to the forefront. Since 2017, Conny has been at the forefront of developing and embedding staff wellbeing strategies in schools. Her work has previously been shared with the HR group at the National Association of Independent and Non-Maintained Special Schools (NASS).

Her session will focus on identifying the key areas schools need to address when launching a staff wellbeing strategy. Through candid discussion of her six-year journey, Conny aims to provide SBLs with practical, experience-based guidance they can adapt for their own contexts.

“This seminar can act as a springboard for SBLs to have meaningful conversations with their staff,” said Holly Tinsley, editor of Education Executive. “Our hope is that attendees take the fantastic advice and examples from Conny’s session and use them to begin or refine their own wellbeing strategies.”

The timing couldn’t be better. With International Self-Care Day falling on July 24th, SBLs are encouraged to use the month as an opportunity to highlight self-care in their schools. “It’s a great time to ask your team to share their wellbeing practices – even something as simple as posting a photo from a morning walk in a WhatsApp group can go a long way,”

Don’t miss the chance to take part in this important conversation on staff wellbeing.
