Everyone is a winner with Hands Up for Hand Hygiene initiative for schools

Sourcing hand hygiene solutions for your school is naturally high on the to do-list in the current climate. But what about the all-important question of engaging children with using the solutions around school?

Hands Up for Hand Hygiene brings school business managers and the teaching team together in a refreshing campaign that not only provides an exciting set of resources for teachers to use with their class but also offers schools the chance to win a full set of premium Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) hand hygiene solutions. The prize includes soap dispensers for washrooms, along with hand sanitiser dispensers and a six-month supply of RCP refills.*

Your school will need to act fast though – the deadline for competition entries is 30th June.

Why encourage teachers to get involved?

  • Great summer-term activity pack available for free download, ideal for children aged eight to 12-years-old.
  • With a presentation, video and design-a-poster template, the resources speak to children in their language – computer games! The animated video explains the importance of good hand hygiene to the next generation in a fun and friendly way.
  • Pupils can get involved via a design a hand-hygiene poster. There are Amazon vouchers to be won for the class of the winning designers.

School procurement teams have their hands up for hand hygiene too!

  • Classrooms create change. By getting teachers and children involved, you will be playing your part in embedding a culture where hygiene comes first across the school.
  • There are prizes for four schools on offer. Encourage teachers to submit their class’ poster designs to be in with a chance to win a full suite of RCP hand hygiene products for your school.
  • Download tips developed especially for school business teams on everything from signposting hand hygiene to saving time and money in its procurement. RCP can help you control costs, provide dependable solutions and, ultimately, introduce order to your hand hygiene, waste and cleaning essentials.
