As reported by the Mirror, Coca-Cola is extending its Christmas Truck Tour partnership with FareShare, donating the equivalent of one million meals to help redistribute surplus food to people who need it most
Coca-Cola’s iconic Christmas Truck Tour will continue its partnership with FareShare this year, the UK’s leading food redistribution charity fighting hunger and food waste. As part of the festive campaign, the company will make a direct donation to FareShare equivalent to one million meals, helping ensure good-to-eat surplus food reaches people who need it most.
Graham Kelly, Head of Fundraising at FareShare said: “We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. This incredibly generous donation means this festive season the equivalent of 1 million meals will reach people and communities in need.”
Daily deliveries from FareShare flow into more than 8,000 charities right across the UK, enabling everything from children’s after-school activities to community lunches and homelessness support to serve nutritious food alongside crucial services.
