As reported by Worcester News, Royal Grammar School (RGS) Worcester was recognised for its innovative approach to digital learning and education technology after hosting a national EdTech Study Tour

The event brought together education leaders from across the UK to explore how RGS Worcester integrates technology into teaching and learning, with a particular focus on creativity and independent learning.

Led by John Jones, RGS Worcester’s director of innovation and RGSW International, and Matt Warne, head of computing and digital learning at RGS The Grange, the tour showcased how digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) are embedded across the school’s curriculum.

Presentations were also delivered by representatives from LGfL, LEO Academy Trust and Discovery Schools Trust, offering further insight into best practice and innovation within the education technology sector.

The visit concluded with discussions involving pupils and staff, including members of the school’s ‘Digital Geniuses’ a pupil leadership group that helps to promote and support RGS Worcester’s strong digital culture.

Headmaster John Pitt said the school was proud to have been recognised for its leadership in digital education.
