NEWS: Taskmaster Club 100 Opens Applications

As reported on gov.uk, The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) has teamed up with Taskmaster Education to launch Taskmaster Club 100

Open to students aged 11 to 16, the programme invites up to 100 schools to access the popular Taskmaster Club Bathtub series: ready-to-use, interactive lesson plans designed to develop essential skills like teamwork, creativity, problem-solving and resilience. Applications are open and close on 15 August, with selected schools notified by 1st September.

The resources also include valuable teaching notes on intellectual property (IP), helping students understand creative ownership and the importance of respecting IP rights in a digital world. Adam Williams, CEO of the IPO, said: “Our partnership with Taskmaster Education will support schools in developing vital innovation skills in a fun and engaging way. Understanding IP is an increasingly important life skill.”

Selected schools will also have the chance to win a virtual lesson with Taskmaster creator Alex Horne and receive a year’s subscription to Taskmaster Club by entering a student invention competition running until December 2025. Schools can apply via the Taskmaster Education website.
