Education Executive editor Laura Williams has been on a mission to elevate the SBL voice and has emphasised the value of using the upcoming Ed Exec Live events as a platform for school business leaders to engage socially – citing the positive benefits of making connections with the wider community and sharing inspiring and uplifting stories of success
Laura highlighted the importance of sharing experiences online, emphasizing that in the world of SBLs, it’s easy to feel isolated from peers and colleagues. However, she encourages reaching out and engaging on social media as a means to keep the community informed about your activities and ideas.
She explained how Ed Exec Live provides an excellent starting point, as the team has placed extra emphasis on providing delegates with numerous opportunities to engage with the event on social media throughout the day. She stated, “We want everyone to feel empowered to participate, so we’ll have designated areas where attendees can chat with the team, join discussions, and perhaps even snap a few photos! Naturally, we’d love to see attendees sharing pictures from their day on social media – Ed Exec Live is all about networking and positivity!”
Laura further explained how leveraging social media at events like Ed Exec Live can alleviate the nerves of those who may be new or unsure about what to expect. “For newcomers, seeing the experiences of peers via social media can be a great way to boost confidence and help them connect with people.”
Will you be attending one of the Ed Exec Live events this year? The Education Executive team is eager to see your pictures and hear about your experiences connecting with old friends and making new ones. So, while you’re there, be sure to snap a picture and get social!
