NEWS: Join the Conversation: Why Engagement Matters at EdExec LIVE

Active participation set to be at the heart of the EdExec LIVE North event, as it aims to create an engaging platform for school business leaders to share their experiences and insights

The EdExec LIVE team is gearing up to close out the 2024 events calendar on a high note, as they prepare to welcome school business leaders to Harrogate on 6th November. Laura Williams from Education Executive said, “Our South and Midlands events this year have been some of our best yet, and we’re aiming to raise the bar even higher for the North event. The feedback from earlier events has been incredibly positive, and we’re using it to enhance the experience in Harrogate and into next year, ensuring the SBL community feels truly heard.”

Attendee participation and feedback are key to making sure EdExec LIVE events meet the needs of the school business management community, addressing the topics that matter most to them. After the South event earlier this year, one attendee shared, “Of all the conferences, this is the best for us. We hear from other school business leaders, learn from their experiences, and discuss important subjects, allowing us to learn from each other.”

A core objective of EdExec LIVE is empowering School Business Leaders (SBLs) to raise their voices, ensuring they are not only heard but actively engaged in discussions about the challenges they face and the successes they achieve. Whether it’s tackling complex financial planning, navigating procurement challenges, or celebrating school-wide successes, EdExec LIVE in Harrogate aims to create a dynamic environment where every SBL can contribute and leave feeling empowered to drive change in their schools.

Laura emphasised the significance of active participation and feedback during the event, stating, “Our events are not merely about listening to speakers; they are about fostering conversations—among SBLs, between experts and those still learning, and with the Education Executive team and the wider school business community. We’re all collaborating to ensure that the role of the SBL is recognized, supported, and celebrated.”
