A new service for a new school year

Working with our network of schools, it has become apparent that the pressures facing school leadership teams are presenting significant issues within education. This is why we have developed a dedicated Leadership Supervision support service specifically for schools. This helps leaders manage job stress, foster emotional resilience and promote professional growth through reflective sessions. Our service is broken down into three areas:

Life Coaching Supervision: Our specialists offer regular 1-to-1 or group leadership supervision support. This provides school leaders with strategies and models to help them make sense of the most common challenges and problems they face in their daily roles.

Reflective Practice Supervision: This offers you an opportunity to confidentially discuss any issues you are facing with our in-house team of experienced headteachers and education professionals. Our experts can offer guidance and potential solutions from new and innovative perspectives, along with practical solutions that you can implement in your school.

Crisis Supervision: In the event of a crisis, we are here to support you when the pressures and demands of your role become overwhelming. We will help you navigate the situation and provide advice and support precisely when you need it most.

Last year we visited St. Chad’s Multi Academy Trust and spoke to the Director of Operations, Zoe Heath. When asked about using our services Zoe said:

“As somebody who has used the service it was second to none from the get-go. Resilience is a massive thing. We do training on it, but we don’t always practice what we preach. I burnt myself out twice and got to the point where I was asking: how do you cope, where do you go, what are the mechanisms? Having SAS was a massive help. The ease of getting access to the system, the ease in which somebody came back to me and straight away set up the provision, that for me was life changing.

Just having somebody that you can talk to, that can understand and really make you think about where you were, where you want to be and the journey you’ll go on. You can’t pay for that. That’s priceless. It’s impacted everything I do now, including how I approach policies, HR matters and people. What I gained from SAS will resonate for years. For me, it’s priceless”
