EdExec and IRIS partner to launch research piece into whether schools’ management systems are future fit

We know that, as school business leaders, you have a hefty responsibility on your shoulders to keep a close eye on the comings and goings of the entire school – something that’s impossible to do without a management information system (MIS) that’s fit-for-purpose

Thanks to a reliance on legacy systems and even on occasion paper-based processes, it seems many systems are falling short of the often highly strategic and demanding outcomes and objectives expected of SBLs.

Technology is being championed as a solution to help streamline processes, take back time and reduce workloads; however, there are challenges that schools must overcome to realise a digital management system that efficiently serves the needs of the school. Are current MIS systems fit for purpose?

To celebrate the launch of its leading next generation  MIS system, Ed:Gen, IRIS have partnered with EdExec to try and gain a better understanding of the current school management system landscape, the pinch points and challenges, and whether your MIS systems are future fit?

To this end, EdExec and IRIS and have published a sector survey that delves into this topic of schools’ management systems, with a view to gaining a better understanding of the current situation, the main limitations and most pertinent features that would make an MIS system, truly future fit.

We truly want to understand the precise nature of the challenges school leaders face every day, direct from the best possible source – our readership.

The survey aims to delve into some key discussion points;

  • Are you satisfied with your current MIS?
  • How important is it in your view to invest in schools management system technology?
  • Are able to stay on top of what’s happening in your school currently?
  • Are you able to easily check in with team members and staff throughout the day?
  • Does your current MIS show you data that allows you to make a difference?
  • Does your current MIS benefit pupils as well as staff?

EdExec and IRIS are keen to have your input on this, so please spare just a few short minutes to take our survey HERE.

And as a thank you for sparing a few minutes of your very precious time, we are offering you the chance to be entered into a prize draw for a £200 SPA voucher! We really do value your input!
